15. Wherefore the Lord being angry against Amasias, sent a prophet to him, to say to him: Why hast thou adored gods that have not delivered their own people out of thy hand?

Chapter 25 of 2 Chronicles tells the story of Amaziah, king of Judah, and his war against Edom. He hired Israeli soldiers to help him, but a prophet warned him that God was not with them.
