This passage reinforces the message that God is faithful to fulfill His promises and that we can trust in His presence and help in all circumstances.
John 1:51: "In truth, I really say unto you, ye shall see the open heaven and the angels of God rising and coming down over the Son of man." This verse is a reference to Jacob's dream, where he saw a staircase that stretched from heaven to earth and the angels rising and down. He reminds us that Jesus is the ladder that leads us to heaven and that He is the connection between God and humanity.
