Psalm 81 is a psalm of worship in which the psalmist calls God's people to rejoice and praise him, recalling the wonderful works He has done for them. The psalmist recalls the liberation of Egypt and urges the people not to forget the commandments of God. Psalm 105:42-45: "For he remembered his holy word, and from Abraham, his servant. And he took his people with joy, and his chosen rejoicing. " This excerpt from Psalm 105 also recalls the liberation of Egypt and the delivery of the promised land to the people of God.

Deuteronomy 6:12: "I have not forget the Lord, who took you from the land of Egypt, from the house of servitude." In this verse, Moses warns the people not to forget the liberation of Egypt and the power of God.

Psalms 100:1-2: "Celebrate with joy to the Lord, all the lands. Serve the Lord with joy; and enter before him with singing." This excerpt from Psalm 100 also exhorts the people to rejoice and praise God with songs and joy.
