21. And what one nation in the earth [is] like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem [to be] his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?

A temple in honor of my name, for it poured a lot of blood on earth before my eyes. " This verse shows how David was prevented by God from building the temple because of the bloodshed in wars.

Psalm 89:35-37: "In no way do I remove my faithfulness from David, nor will I break my covenant with Him. I will establish your descent forever and your throne, like the days of heaven." This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to his promise to establish David's dynasty forever.

Jeremiah 23:5: "Days will come, the Lord declares, in which I will raise a righteous descendant, a king who will reign with wisdom and do what is just and correct on earth." This verse speaks of the prophecy that Jesus, descended from David, would reign as a righteous and wise king.
