12. And it shall come to pass, [as soon as] I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and [so] when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.

1 Kings 18 narrates the confrontation between the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Elijah challenges Baal's prophets to make a sacrifice to their God and to invoke him to light the fire of sacrifice. Baal's prophets try, but to no avail. Exodus 20:3: "You will not have other gods before me." This is the first commandment of God's law to Moses, and highlights the exclusivity and importance of worshiping only to God, not other gods.

1 Corinthians 8:6: "But for us, there is one God, the Father, whom they are all things, and to whom we live; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, for which they are all things, and we for he." This verse highlights God's unity, and how he is the Father of all things, and how all things were created through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
