Psalm 81 is a psalm of worship in which the psalmist calls God's people to rejoice and praise him, recalling the wonderful works He has done for them. The psalmist recalls the liberation of Egypt and urges the people not to forget the commandments of God. Psalm 105:42-45: "For he remembered his holy word, and from Abraham, his servant. And he took his people with joy, and his chosen rejoicing.
