5. David then said, 'My son Solomon is young and immature, and the house to be built for Yahweh must be superlatively fine, the most famous and splendid in any country. I shall now make the preparations for it.' And so, before he died, David made ample preparations.

Chapter 22 of 1 Chronicles describes David's preparation for the construction of God's temple in Jerusalem, and how he gathered the materials necessary for the work. 1 Chronicles 22:19 - "Now, therefore, order for me to do with me wooden cutters in the mountains of Lebanon; and I will put people in number with you, stone cutters and carpenters, to do all sorts of work . " This verse shows how David gathered the materials needed to build the temple, including wood and stone cutters and carpenters.

2 Chronicles 2:4-5-"Behold, I will build a house to the name of the Lord my God, to consecrate it, to burn the aromatic incense before him, to put the bread of continuous proposition over it, and to offer holocaustos In the morning and in the afternoon, on Saturdays, on the new moons, and in the feasts of the Lord our God; which is perpetually ordered in Israel. " This verse shows how Solomon completed the work of building the temple and how it will be used for worship of God.
