Isaiah, 24

5. The earth is defiled by the feet of its inhabitants, for they have transgressed the laws, violated the decree, broken the everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 24 is a chapter that talks about the destruction that will come upon all the earth because of the rebellion against God. The chapter begins with the description of the earth being completely devastated and its inhabitants suffering the consequences of evil they have practiced. " This verse talks about the glory that God will receive when bringing judgment on the earth and punishing the wicked.

Isaiah 26:21 - "For behold, the Lord will leave his place to punish the residents of the earth because of his iniquity; and the earth will discover his blood, and will no longer cover his dead." This verse talks about how God will come out of his place to punish the residents of the earth because of his iniquity.
