1. When Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples he moved on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Luke 9:23: "He said to all," If anyone wants to come after me, to deny himself, day by day take his cross, and follow me. " Jesus calls people to leave everything and follow him, assuming his cross daily and finding life in union with him.
