22. Are there any among the false gods of the nations that can bring rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Art thou not he, O LORD our God? We set our hope on thee, for thou doest all these things.

Jeremiah 14 deals with the lack of rain in Judah and the cry of the people to God to send rain. Isaiah 55:10-11: "For, just as the rain and snow of heaven, and they do not make it first set off the earth, and fertilize it, and make it sprout, to give seed to the sower and bread to bread What eats, this will be the word that comes out of my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will do what will be pleased and prosper in that I have sent it. " These verses show how rain is a symbol of God's Word that can bring life and prosperity.

Zechariah 10:1: "Peda to the Lord rain in the time of late rain, yes, to the Lord, who makes the lightning; and will give them abundant rain, and to each one, weed in the field." This verse talks about how God can send rain and prosperity if the people pray and ask with faith.
