Chapter 20 of 2 kings relates the story of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who badly gets sick. God sends the prophet Isaiah to tell Hezekiah that He will die, but Hezekiah pray to God and asks his life to be spared. God meets your prayer and gives you 15 years of life. Isaiah 38:18-19: "For it is not the sheol who praises you, nor the death that exalts you; it is not among those who descend to the grave that is expected in your faithfulness. " This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah after his healing, which was praising God for his mercy and faithfulness.
