24. And the hail and intermingled fire drove on together. And it was of such magnitude as had never before been seen in the entire land of Egypt, from the time when that nation was formed.

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.
