8. And I will leave among you those who will escape the sword among the Gentiles, when I will have dispersed you upon the earth.

Ezekiel 6 deals with God's condemnation of the people of Israel because of their idolatry. 1 Kings 18:21: "Then Elijah has come to all the people, and said, How long shall shall you be between two thoughts? If the Lord is God, follow him; and if Baal, follow him. . " This verse is part of the story of Elijah confronting Baal's prophets.
