Jeremiah 12 deals with God's righteousness and the prophet's understanding of the suffering of the righteous before the wicked. The chapter begins with Jeremiah questioning God about why the wicked prosper as the righteous suffer. God responds to Jeremiah that he will have to deal with his neighbors, who betrayed him and attacked him. Following are five verses related to the topics addressed in Jeremiah 12:

Psalm 37:7: "Rest in the Lord and wait in Him; do not indignant to you because of the one who thrives in his way, because of the man who performs inform cunning." " This verse talks about the righteousness of God, which will return to tribulation those who caused tribulation to the righteous.

James 5:7-8: "He thirsts, brothers, patients until the coming of the Lord. " James encourages patience and perseverance in moments of suffering, trusting in the coming of the Lord and his final justice.
