Jeremiah, 14

15. For this reason, thus says the Lord about the prophets who prophesy in my name, whom I have not sent, who say: ‘Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ By sword and famine those prophets will be consumed.

Jeremiah 14 deals with the lack of rain in Judah and the cry of the people to God to send rain. However, God tells Jeremiah that he will not send rain because the people are wicked and did not repent. Isaiah 55:10-11: "For, just as the rain and snow of heaven, and they do not make it first set off the earth, and fertilize it, and make it sprout, to give seed to the sower and bread to bread What eats, this will be the word that comes out of my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will do what will be pleased and prosper in that I have sent it. " These verses show how rain is a symbol of God's Word that can bring life and prosperity.

Zechariah 10:1: "Peda to the Lord rain in the time of late rain, yes, to the Lord, who makes the lightning; and will give them abundant rain, and to each one, weed in the field." This verse talks about how God can send rain and prosperity if the people pray and ask with faith.
