Judges, 6

1. Then the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, who delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years.

Judges 6 tells the story of Gideon, a young man who was called by God to lead the Israelites in the fight against the Midianites. Both men believed that God was with them and could do great things through Him.
