1 Chronicles 23 deals with the organization of the Levites and their duties in the temple service. Numbers 3:5-9: "The Lord spoke to Moses,: Make the sons of Levi's children for his families and clans. Tell all the men of one month up. They will be consecrated to me as Levites.
