Chapter 13 of Exodus deals with the celebration of the feast of the punes and the consecration of the firstborn. Numbers 18:15: "Every firstborn of all the flesh they present to the Lord, both men and animals, will be yours; yet, you will rescue the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of unclean animals, you will rescue."
