7. That is why Yahweh speaks thus: Your rebellion is greater than that of the nations around you - you have not kept my laws, respected my decrees or observed my ordinances but instead have conformed to the laws of neighboring nations -

Amos 9:8: "Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom; and I will destroy him from the surface of the earth, except that I will not completely destroy the house of Jacob, says the Lord."
