Chapter 20 of 2 kings relates the story of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who badly gets sick. God sends the prophet Isaiah to tell Hezekiah that He will die, but Hezekiah pray to God and asks his life to be spared. God meets your prayer and gives you 15 years of life. Psalm 30:2: "Lord my God, I cry to help, and you heal me." This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah by praying to God for healing in his illness.

Isaiah 38:1: "In those days, Hezekiah became sick and almost died. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, went to him and said, 'Thus saith the Lord, Give your family orders, because you will die; will not recover '. " This verse introduces the theme of Hezekiah's disease and God's intervention through the prophet Isaiah.
