Ezekiel 11 is a chapter that deals with the divine punishment that would come about the leaders of Israel because of their corruption and infidelity. The prophet receives a vision where he is taken to the entrance of the temple in Jerusalem and sees the leaders by conspiring against the people. Isaiah 1:23: "Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves; each one of them loves the bribe and runs after the rewards. They do not defend the rights of the orphan, nor do they care about the cause of the widow." This verse talks about the corruption of the leaders of Israel, a theme that is central to Ezekiel 11.
