10. And I went in and saw, and behold every form of creeping things, and of living creatures, the abomination, and all the idols of the house of Israel, were painted on the wall all round about.

Ezekiel 8 describes the prophet's view of idolatry practiced in the temple of Jerusalem, including images of worship of pagan gods, sacrifices to idols, and other abominable practices. The following verses are related to this theme:

Deuteronomy 12:4 - "Thou shalt not do the Lord thy God." This verse refers to the prohibition of worship to other gods and the requirement to serve only the Lord. Ezekiel witnessed the violation of this prohibition in the temple of Jerusalem.

Exodus 20:3 - "You will not have other gods before me." This is the first commandment of the law given to Moses. Ezekiel witnessed the violation of this commandment in the temple of Jerusalem, where images of pagan gods were being worshiped.
