1. But after that he heard the words of the sons of Laban, saying: Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's, and being enriched by his substance is become great:

Genesis 31 reports Jacob's escape from Laban's house with his family and his flocks. Jacob had worked for many years to Laban, but realized that he was being deceived and explored by him.
