Leviticus 16:34: "This will be for you a perpetual statute, to do atonement for the children of Israel of all their sins once a year." Jeremiah 31:33: "But this is the pact that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I shall put my law within, and I will write it into His heart; and I will be your God and they will be my people. " This verse highlights God's promise to write his law in the heart of humanity, which is only possible through the sacrifice of Jesus.
