15. Until the Lord give rest to your brethren as he hath given you, and they also possess the land which the Lord your God will give them: and so you shall return into the land of your possession, and you shall dwell in it, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.

Joshua chapter 1 marks the beginning of Joshua's leadership over the children of Israel after the death of Moses. God commissiones Joshua to lead the people in conquering the promised land, and encourages them to be strong and brave. " This verse highlights the importance of obeying God's orders and following his command, just as Joshua was commissioned by God to lead his people in conquering the promised land.
