Romans 8:35-37: "Who will you separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or hunger, or nudity, or danger, or the sword? " Paul shows that nothing can separate Christians from the love of Christ, and that they are more than winners in the midst of tribulations.

Philippians 1:29: "For you were granted to you, in relation to Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer by Him." This verse shows that suffering and persecution are part of the Christian's so -called, and that it is a grace granted to them in relation to Christ.
