Ezekiel, 2

5. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they [are] a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Ezekiel chapter 2 begins with the description of the prophet's vision of God and heavenly beings. God then calls Ezekiel to be a messenger and prophet, sent to speak to the people of Israel and warn them about their sinful conduct. Matthew 10:16: "I send you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, thirst prudent like snakes and simple as doves." This verse shows the similarity between Ezekiel's mission and that of Jesus, who also sent his disciples to preach and warn the people, even in the midst of hostility and opposition.

Acts 20:26-27: "Therefore, on this day I declare you that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not fail to proclaim you all the will of God." The apostle Paul declared his faithfulness by fulfilling the mission of preaching God's Word, similar to Ezekiel's commitment to warn the people of Israel of God's will.
