24. And it shall come to pass, [that] instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; [and] burning instead of beauty.

Isaiah 3 describes God's righteousness against the nation of Judah, which has become corrupt and disobedient. God removes corrupt leaders and, as a result, the people are left without guidance and protection. Isaiah 3:10-11: "Tell them to the righteous that they will well; for they will eat the fruit of their works. Woe to the wicked! It will barely do what your hands have done to you." These verses highlight God's righteousness to reward the righteous and punish the wicked. This is directly related to the theme of divine justice described in Isaiah 3.

Isaiah 3:16: "The Lord said more, Since the daughters of Zion are haughty, and they walk with their neck erected, and with the shameless eyes; and that they walk in short steps, making the ornaments of their feet;" This verse highlights the arrogance and vanity of the women of Judah, which is an important theme in Isaiah 3.
