Psalm 104 is a hymn of praise to God for its creation and continuous providence in the support of the universe and human life. The psalmist extols the greatness, power and wisdom of the Creator, who did everything with purpose and beauty. Matthew 6:26 - "Observe the birds of heaven: they do not sow or reap or store in barns; however, heavenly Father feeds them. Do not have you much more value than them?" Jesus teaches that God, who created and sustains nature, also cares and provides for human needs.

Colossians 1:16-17 - "For all things were created in Him in heaven and earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or sovereignties, powers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before of all things, and in it everything subsists. " This verse reinforces the idea that all things were created by God with a purpose and that He is the Lord and sustainer of everything.
