12. Again we are saying this not to commend ourselves to you, but simply to give you the opportunity to take pride in us, so that you may have an answer for those who take pride in appearances and not inner reality.

Chapter 5 of 2 Corinthians talks about the Christian perspective of death and eternal life. " This verse talks about the security we have in Christ that nothing can separate us from God's love, not even death.

John 11:25-26: "Jesus said unto him, I am resurrection and life. He who believes in me, even though he dies, shall live; and all who lives and believes in me will not die, forever. Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in them, even if they die physically.

Colossians 3:4: "When Christ, who is our life, manifest himself, then you will manifest with Him in glory." This verse talks about our identity in Christ and the fact that our lives are in it. When he returns, we will be with him in glory.

2 Timothy 1:10: "But it has now been manifested by the appearance of our Savior Jesus Christ, who abolished death, and brought to light life and incorption through the Gospel." Jesus abolished death and brought eternal life through the Gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:20: "So that we are ambassadors of Christ, as if God prayed for us. This verse talks about our responsibility as Christ ambassadors, to share the message of reconciliation with God with those around us.
