17. Since you have been forewarned about this, my dear friends, be careful that you do not come to the point of losing the firm ground that you are standing on, carried away by the errors of unprincipled people.

Chapter 3 of 2 Peter deals with the return of Jesus Christ and the destruction of the world by fire. Peter urges Christians to live godly and eagerly await the return of Christ. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in the chapter:
