6. So say to the Israelites, "I am Yahweh. I shall free you from the forced labour of the Egyptians; I shall rescue you from their slavery and I shall redeem you with outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement.

Chapter 6 of the book of Exodus narrates the continuation of the conversation between God and Moses, in which God reaffirms his promise to free the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. "This verse anticipates the fate of Abraham's descendants, who were enslaved in Egypt for 400 years before being released by God through Moses.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not flood you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you. Jeremiah 32:20-21: "You have performed miracles and wonders in Egypt and realized them to this day, both in Israel and other people, and became famous. With your powerful hand and extended arm, you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. " This verse highlights the power of God and the liberation he has given to the people of Israel in Egypt, who continued to be remembered and celebrated.
