4. "Yahweh, God of Israel, says this: I shall bring back the weapons of war which you are now carrying, and with which you are fighting the king of Babylon and the Chaldaeans now besieging you; from outside the walls, I shall stack them in the centre of this city.

Jeremiah 21 presents a message from God to the king of Judah, Zedekiah, about the judgment that was about to happen over the people of Judah. Isaiah 1:15-17: "When you extend your hands in prayer, I will hide from you my eyes; even if you multiply your prayers, I will not hear them! Your hands are full of blood! Jeremiah 22:3: "Thus says the Lord, Practice justice and right. Deliver the oppressed from the oppressor's hand. Do not oppress the foreigner, the orphan or the widow. Ezekiel 33:11: "I swear for my life, word of the sovereign, the Lord, who I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but in which they move away from their ways and live. Return from their bad ways! Why Would you die, O nation of Israel? " God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but wants them to repent and return to him.

Psalm 91:15: "He shall invoke me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in anguish, free him and glorify him." God promises to be present with his children during his anguish, freeing them and glorifying them.

John 16:33: "I told you these things that you may have peace in me. In this world you will have afflictions; however, have the mood! I have won the world." Jesus warns his disciples that in this world they would have afflictions, but that he had won them, bringing peace and hope.
