In Acts of Apostles 15, the apostles and elders gather to discuss the issue of circumcision among the Gentiles converted to Christianity. Romans 2:28-29: "For it is not Jewish who is outwardly, nor is circumcision to which is externally in the flesh. Acts of the Apostles 15:28-29: "For it seemed well on the Holy Spirit, and we no longer impose you anymore, but these necessary things: May you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and the suffocated flesh, and, and of prostitution, of which things you do well if you keep you. " This verse is part of the decision made by the apostles and elders regarding the issue of circumcision and what other requirements the converted Gentiles needed to follow.
