Genesis, 36

43. Mag'diel, and Iram; these are the chiefs of Edom (that is, Esau, the father of Edom), according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession.

Chapter 36 of Genesis is dedicated to Esau's genealogy and its descendants, presenting a list of names and lineages. Among the topics covered in the chapter, we highlight Esau's offspring, the formation of nations from these strains and the relationship between the Edomites and other peoples.

Deuteronomy 2:12 - "They had lived in her the Horeus, big people, and numerous, and loud as the anachins." This verse refers to the Horeus, one of the peoples who inhabited the region of Seir before the arrival of the Edomites, as mentioned in Genesis 36:20.
