7. And I brought you into a plentiful land to enjoy its fruits and its good things. But when you came in you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

Psalm 106:19-21: "They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped the cast image. Thus they exchanged their glory by the figure of an ox that eats herb. They forgot God, his Savior, who had done great things in Egypt. Hosea 2:13: "She did not acknowledge that I was the one who gave her the wheat, the new wine and the oil, and multiply the silver and the gold, which they used for Baal." This verse describes how Israel forgot that God was the source of all his material blessings, giving his prosperity to Baal, a false God.
