2 Samuel 11:2-4: "And it happened that one afternoon David got up from his bed, and walked on the terrace of the royal house; and he saw a woman who was washing himself; and was this very beautiful woman to Vista. And David sent, and asked about the woman. And they said unto him, Is it not this Bathsheba, daughter of Eliã, wife of Uriah, the Hetteu? 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: "For this is the will of God, your sanctification; May you abstain from prostitution; let each one of you know how to have his vase in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, like the ones Gentiles who do not know God. " This verse urges Christians to live a holy life and to abstain from sexual immorality.

Matthew 5:28: "But I say unto you, whatever looking at a woman with impure intention in her heart has already tampered with her." This verse highlights the importance of controlling mind and thoughts, and that marital fidelity is not limited to physical actions, but also to thoughts and desires.
