9. then those who have escaped will remember me among the nations to which they have been exiled, after I have broken their adulterous hearts that turned away from me (and their eyes which lusted after idols). They shall loathe themselves because of their evil deeds, all their abominations.

Ezekiel 6 deals with God's condemnation of the people of Israel because of their idolatry. " This verse speaks of God's command to destroy all places of worship and symbols of worship of pagan peoples in their new earth. " This verse describes the idolatry of the people of Israel and how they have moved away from God's commandments. 1 Kings 18:21: "Then Elijah has come to all the people, and said, How long shall shall you be between two thoughts? If the Lord is God, follow him; and if Baal, follow him. . " This verse is part of the story of Elijah confronting Baal's prophets.
