5. But, having met with an opportune time for his madness, he was called to a counsel by Demetrius and asked what things the Jews relied upon and what were their counsels.

1 Samuel 17:47: "And all this congregation shall know that the Lord saves, not a sword, nor with a spear; for the Lord is war, and He shall surrender to us in our hand." Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you, do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This verse talks about how God is our protector and provider at all times, including moments of battle and difficulty.
