Ezekiel 21 is a chapter that deals with God's judgment against Jerusalem and the sword of God that will be used to execute his judgment. Proverbs 20:18: "Preparing plans is decisive, and all the preparation with advice." This verse talks about the importance of planning before acting. In Chapter 21 of Ezekiel, God is planning the judgment of Jerusalem, and the sword of God is being prepared to execute his judgment.

Isaiah 34:5: "For my sword has been drunk in heaven; behold, she will come down over Edom, and the people of my anathema to perform judgment." Jeremiah 23:24: "Will anyone hide in hiding places, so that I do not see him? In this verse, God talks about His omnipresence and how He sees everything. In Ezekiel chapter 21, God is observing the situation in Jerusalem and planning his action as the omnipresent and omniscient god.
