Jeremiah, 13

1. Thus says the Lord to me: “Go, and obtain for yourself a linen waistcloth. And you shall place it over your loins, and you shall not put it into water.”

This verse speaks of the importance of seeking God's righteousness and mercy rather than trusting in our own strengths and resources.

Romans 6:23: "For the salary of sin is death, but God's free gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This verse speaks of the consequences of sin and the offer of eternal life that God gives through Jesus Christ.
