26. Yet truly, the fat he shall burn upon it, just as is usually done with the victims of peace offerings. And the priest shall pray for him and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.

This verse refers to the role of Jesus Christ as the Perfect High Priest, who made the definitive sacrifice for the sins of humanity, making the regular sacrifices described in Leviticus 4 unnecessary.
