11. Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! Yahweh has aroused Media's kings in his resolve to destroy Babylon. This is Yahweh's vengeance, vengeance for his temple.

Jeremiah 50:46: "Listen to the cry of Babylon; the sound of great destruction comes from the land of the Chaldeans." This verse speaks of the imminent destruction of Babylon and the cry that will be heard throughout the earth.
