30. But as the shipmen sought to fly out of the ship, having let down the boat into the sea, under colour, as though they would have cast anchors out of the forepart of the ship,

Psalm 107:28-30: "Then they cried to the Lord in his anguish, and he delivered them from his afflictions. He stopped the storm, and the waves were calmed. And he rejoiced with the bonanza, and thus guided them to desired port. " This psalm talks about God's power to calm the storms and rid people from danger, which relates directly to Paul's experience during the storm at sea.
