Jeremiah, 27

14. Hearken not to the words of the prophets that say to you: You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they tell you a lie.

This verse reports God's action to hand over the people of Judah into the hands of the Chaldeans as a consequence of the disobedience and sins of the people.
