Joshua, 22

16. Thus saith all the people of the Lord: What meaneth this transgression? Why have you forsaken the Lord the God of Israel, building a sacrilegious altar, and revolting from the worship of him?

" This verse talks about the importance of the tribes remaining together and supporting each other in conquering the promised land.

Joshua 1:18: "Everywhere the sole of your foot stepping on, I gave you, as I promised Moses." This verse talks about God's promise to give all the earth that the Israelites stepped to them. He highlights the importance of maintaining this promise and gaining all the lands that were promised to them.
