8. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

" This verse shows that the lack of knowledge and obedience to God's law can lead to the destruction of the people.

Amos 3:7: "Certainly the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secret to His servants, the prophets." This verse highlights the importance of the true prophets, who are chosen by God to receive their revelations and guidance.
