24. But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which [Solomon] had built for her: then did he build Millo.

1 Kings 9 tells the Lord's answer to Solomon after the completion of the construction of the temple and the palace. The chapter deals mainly to the covenant between God and Solomon, as well as the fulfillment of the promises God made to David. 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which is called by my name, humble themselves, pray and pursue my face and move away from their evil ways, from heaven I will hear him, forgive his sin and heal his earth . 2 Samuel 7:12-13: "When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will establish your descendant to succeed you, who will come out of your own body, and will sign your kingdom. He will build a temple in honor By my name, and I will establish the throne of your kingdom forever.
