32. Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of [one] Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

Acts of the Apostles 10 tells the story of Cornelius, a Roman centurion who had a vision and sent messengers to Peter to come to him. And ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
