Isaiah, 31

2. Yet he also [is] wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

Psalm 20:7 - "Some trust cars, some in horses; we, we will mention the name of the Lord our God." This verse highlights the importance of trust in God rather than trusting human forces, as is Isaiah 31.

Proverbs 21:31 - "The horse prepares for battle day, but victory comes from the Lord." Like Isaiah 31, this verse highlights the importance of trusting God for victory rather than trusting human forces.

Jeremiah 17:5-6 - "Thus saith the Lord: Damn the man who trusts in man, and makes the flesh his arm, and separate his heart of the Lord! Hosea 14:3 - "Assyria will not save us; we will not ride in horses, and to the work of our hands we no longer say: You are our God; for in you the orphan reaches mercy." This verse highlights the importance of trusting God rather than relying on human alliances.

Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by force or violence, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts." This verse highlights the importance of trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit rather than relying on human forces, just as Isaiah 31 warns against trusting human alliances.
